In Hermagor, in the higher district of Radnig, the existing hotel “Radnighof” is located in an absolutely sunny location with a completely unobstructed view of the Adriatic and Carnic mountains! The commercial property, Hotel RADNIGHOF, is an old property as a HOLIDAY HOTEL, closely linked to the local history of Radniger, under the old Vulga name "RONACHER"!
Prologue Project Radnighof
The project website presents the re-activation of the old existing hotel Radnighof - historically with the popularly derived vulgo name "RONACHER" - as part of a future-oriented construction project in Radnig / Hermagor Pressegger See.

A re-activation of existing resources in the old stock already makes an initial measurable contribution to ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION, as no new NATURAL RESOURCES are sacrificed! Tourism, according to the old standards, is considered one of the causes of significant environmental pollution! The “Project Hotel Radnighof” is actively countering this development.
The elements of a sustainable HOTEL operating concept demonstrate the careful use of existing resources. Visible to the outside, through the established project hotel guidelines Blue Vision - >> Energetic concept -- food respect - digitalization - fresh water saving concept -- waste avoidance concept - disposal concept! By using future-oriented technology and an ecological hotel concept, climate protection and sustainable environmental protection should be brought together in a targeted manner to create profit-oriented economic efficiency in sustainable hotel tourism!

Surroundings Radnig location
The project hotel is located in Austria, in the southernmost federal state of Carinthia, in the region
Hermagor - Nassfeld - Pressegger See, in the Carnic-Adriatic Alps.
The Hermagor Pressegger See region is a special landscape for a
wonderful summer and winter vacation!
In winter a great ski area Hermagor/Nassfeld, among the top 10 in Austria.
The valley run "Carnia" with a length of 7.6 km and an altitude difference of
1,200 m, is mostly floodlit at night and is therefore a
one of the longest floodlit ski slopes in Europe! There are also several toboggan runs (sleigh runs) with floodlights at night. Carinthia in summer, with the many lakes in the mountains, with the best water quality.
The special paths to the Hermagor-Pressegger See are more than 1000 km long.
Hiking and cycling in the mountains, from 500 to 2400 meters in altitude, with very
many mountain restaurants (alpine pastures). The southern location of the project hotel means lots of sun and the few kilometers to Italy and Slovenia create a Mediterranean climate in the region in summer! There are great places in Italy and Slovenia near the border with Carinthia.
Vineyards for wine lovers and the Italian Adriatic are also within driving distance.
